I am the Chair of the Children's Book Illustrators Guild (of MN) - CBIG.
The Guild originated in 1983. I have been the sole organizer of the Guild since 2000.

I have a Gallery show with the Children's Book Illustrators Guild at the Red Wing Arts Association (Art at the Depot) in Red Wing, MN. 418 Levee St. in Downtown Red Wing. The Gallery is in an historic railroad depot. The Depot is across the street from the river and has a train track right next to the depot which is still in use.

Saint Sykeon is the saint of troubled marriages. Note the cage that hangs from his hand. I'll say no more!

The Snow Maiden - a sad and unusual maiden with cold flakes turning her slightly blue.

Joan of Arc - if you look at the larger view you'll see the scared Joan behind the mask she holds.

"Zauberlinda the Wise Witch" - my cover design for a book I have since misplaced

"Balloonman" - the idea was taken from a circus book. This clown walks within a horse puppet

"Hera" - my interpretation of the Greek Goddess. This was printed as a card used in a women's therapy game.

"Sad Clown" Can you tell that I have a clown fettish? The good kind not the scary kind!

"Demeter" - another Greek Goddess illustrated for the women's therapy game.

"High and Mitre Pill Pope-ing" - this is my response to a large pharmaceutical company asking me for My Copyright to a piece of My Art!!

Humanized Fish - so this is what happens when the fish are forced to clean up our pollution.

"The Old Man and the Tree" is an illustration I made in an Art class I was taking. Not sure where the idea came from!

Mr. Grasshopper is a complete redesign I made from an 1800's children's book I own.

"Fairy Well Thank You" is one of the earlier pieces I made using the Wacom pad and pen. This was for an Epilepsy art exhibit.

"Monkeying Around". I get numerous ideas from all my antique children's books and here's just another example.

The Road from Epilepsy are thoughts about my epilepsy and the constant chase of $ for the medication!

"Metamorphosis" is a very early piece I painted (and later digitalized) about my first seizures.
